Seniors & More
A group for Seniors in our church and in our community.
Seniors are important and valuable to God and are a dynamic part of our church life. The Bible is positive about old age. It is seen as a time of harvest and growth:
‘They (the righteous) will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green’ Psalm 92 v14
As seniors we seek to serve the church family – to pray, encourage, share wisdom and experience and to develop our personal faith in Christ.
As seniors we seek to bring the Gospel message to older members of our community through care home visits, through making friends, through our witness to our own friends and family.
We meet fortnightly with various activities such as coffee and chat, singing, craft sessions, Quiz & Games sessions, and short services.
