What can you expect from Manor Park Church?

Sunday Mornings

Manor Park Church is within easy walking distance of the St John’s Campus and students can be assured of a friendly welcome, regular offers of Sunday lunch, and opportunities to get involved in church life. Click here for the Google maps route.

18-30s Socials

Once a month, the 18-30s within our church meet up for a social event. We often meet for food but we have also gone bowling and enjoyed a weekend away together in Somerset. Contact Pete Oram on 07540 636364 for more info.

Home Groups

Home groups are a fantastic opportunity to get to know the church, to study the Bible in the middle of the week, and to share in prayer. We have a number of home groups that run throughout the week so finding one that fits with your lectures and schedule shouldn’t be a problem. For more on home groups, click here.

Student Bible Study

Whilst we firmly believe home groups are a fantastic place for students to grow by learning from older Christians, we also recognise the desire for Christian students to study the Bible together. We currently run a weekly student Bible study going through the book of Hebrews. Contact Nathan on 07485 097524 for more info.

Connect

Being so close to St John’s Campus, we have a great passion to care for the students in our community. Through Connect we seek to support all students by providing free and relaxed Friday evenings of food and games. Friendships have been formed and lots of fun has been had over the last few months of these evenings, and we can’t wait to get to know even more people!

Connect - Autumn 2023

Another amazing 12 weeks of food and games and hanging out! From modelling clay to crochet to charades and more, we really did it all. We’ll be back in February through to the start of exams in May.

Connect - Spring 2023

We had an amazing time getting to know so many people over the last 12 weeks, and we can’t wait to see everyone back in September! If you’re in need of a break or a chilled Friday evening, come join Connect on Friday evening. Restarting in September, we will be at St David’s Church, just round the corner from St John’s Campus, with free pizza, board games and Mario Kart!
