1. Bioethics Lectures – Thinking Allowed The next lecture is this
Thursday 24th January 7.30 for 8pm at St Peters Baptist Church, with
guest speaker Dr. June Jones, Senior Lecturer in Biomedical Ethics at
Birmingham University Medical School.
2. 3rd Annual Commissioning Service for new Street Pastors on
Saturday 26 January, 7.30pm at St Helen’s Church, Fish Street. We
warmly welcome anyone/everyone having an interest in the spiritual
welfare of people engaged in the City’s ‘night-time economy’, & perhaps
wishing to know more about the work of Worcester Street Pastors and/or
support in some way.
Street Pastors’ Training Please consider if you feel this is something
you could be involved in. Training Sessions are starting at 7pm on
Monday week, 28th January at St Andrews Methodist Church, Pump
Street. This first meeting is on the roles and responsibilities of a street
pastor and would be an ideal opportunity for those who would like to
know more about the work. There is no obligation to commit to anything
but all are welcome to attend.
3. Koinonia! will be held next Sunday evening at 6pm.
A brief meeting for all those who are considering becoming members will
follow on from Koinonia!
