Manor Park Evangelical Church
Notice Sheet Sunday 13th January 2013
Morning Worship will be led by Steve Mitchell.
Our pastor Roy Summers will introduce a new series:
“Five People meet Jesus”“What would Jesus say to…. a Religious Man?” from John’s Gospel Chapter 3: 1 – 21.
Jainina and Jonathan Perkins and Beth Armitage will be baptised this morning.
This morning’s service will be translated into Portuguese by Paul Jeffrey from Wyche Chapel, Malvern, for the benefit of Jainina and Jonathan’s relatives who have joined us from Brazil.
18:00 – 20:00 D’n’D and Mini Parkers will all meet at the Mitchells’ home.
18:15 – 19:45 Porterbrook Bible Training – talk and seminar on how we got our Bible. This is a vital issue – why do we believe the 66 books in our Bibles (and no others) are inspired by God? What translations should we use, and so on. Everyone is welcome here at the school.
Monday 14th January
Explorers Children’s Bible Club will restart here at the school 17:45 – 19:00
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday:

1. Sarah Wilkins would like to thank everyone who supported the
recent Morning Star appeal. A fantastic total of 1500 pants are
making their way to Morning Star, along with another batch of polo
shirts, which will be much appreciated by the children who receive
them. Sarah has returned to South Africa, starting work on Monday
morning. She continues to appreciate the love, prayers and support
2. “What would Jesus Say….?” – this brief series looks at five people
who Jesus met, from John’s Gospel, and is suitable for friends, so
do use the invitations and consider who you could prayerfully invite.
