Darwin’s Evolution by Natural Selection

It is a popular belief in western culture, that ever since Darwin (1809 -1882) we no longer need a God to explain where living things came from. Darwin, it is thought, developed the idea of Evolution which explains how more complicated life forms arose from less complicated ones. What is more, he discovered a law or principle, called Natural Selection which explains how evolution can take place.
